I had a pretty amazing interview today, which could result in a high-paying, real adult job. I don't want to talk about it until I know for sure what will happen, but I'm starting to feel like a grown-up (and I kinda like it). Also, today marks the day my student loan balance enters the high 17's, down from 21k. Chipping away at that thing slowly but surely...
Yeah. It was a good day.

This job I have now is the first that makes me feel like a functional working adult. The people are kind and professional. They help out, lend encouragement, and they're not too gossipy about one another. Little tiny things anyone would pass on and perhaps little things that might be words of wisdom to consider when dealing with others but other than that, no rumor mills. No cliques. No people I want to avoid. Aside from issues that come with any job, I like it there.
